TIGER or TOAD
If you want to hunt like a tiger, you have to learn to run fast and jump great. Tiger hunting is all about one perfect jump. Sometimes it takes a few smaller jumps to get to the right spot, and then comes the big and decisive one. Other times, you only need one, but it has to be absolutely perfect.
Sabi wanted to show how he jumps right away. "Like this, I think," she said, and jumped. "Did I jump like a tiger?" she asked with excitement.
"This was no tiger jump," Tom replied. "That was more like a toad or frog jump. But it's good for a start. Anyone who wants to learn to jump like a tiger usually jumps like a toad first. In nature it's easier to see a toad than a tiger, and that's why everybody starts out that way. You know, people repeat a lot what they see around them, even if it's not right. For example, crossing the road at a red light. If they see it a lot, they start to think it's okay."

Then Tom added: "The right thing to do is to cross on green. And you know what? Green is my favorite color because it's the color of the jungle and the forest. What's yours?"
Sabi thought and answered, "I like purple. And most of all, I know I don't cross the road on red. But tell me, how do I jump like a tiger? I want to know how!"
"Then try it with a good run," Tom smiled. "If you run fast and bounce hard, you'll jump a long way. Watch this! You have to run that fast and then jump!"
Sabi watched Tom and admired his jump. "Yeah, that was mega speed and mega jump!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Now practice it," Tom advised her. "When you're out in the garden, in the park or on the playground, try it again and again. Practice regularly. It's best to practice for even just one minute a day rather than an hour once a year. Regularity is the magic. And you know what? Sometimes you can try jumping completely backwards like a crazy toad."
"Crazy toad?" Sabi laughed. "That sounds very crazy, but I promise to practice regularly. I want to run and jump like a real tiger!"
